Privacy Policy & Participant Consent Architecture

Effective Date: 5 November 2026 • Prepared in alignment with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 (India) • Marked for Formal Legal Counsel Review Prior to Clinical Cohort Launch

1. Purpose-Specific Consent & Participant Control

SabChill operates on the principle that an older adult participating in voice interactions is the primary Data Principal. We enforce strict separation between (a) ordinary conversational companion engagement and wellness check-ins, and (b) participation in longitudinal digital biomarker research. Participation in research-grade acoustic and linguistic measurement requires explicit, separate, informed consent delivered in the participant's preferred language.

2. Family Access Permissions & Transcript Boundaries

Where a family caregiver or adult child sponsors or configures a companion check-in schedule, family dashboards receive high-level status indicators and general topic summaries only. Verbatim conversation transcripts and raw voice recordings are never disclosed to family members unless the participating older adult has explicitly granted transcript-sharing permission.

3. Architectural Separation of Identifiable and Research Data

Personal contact identifiers and operational call records are logically and cryptographically separated from pseudonymised longitudinal acoustic and linguistic feature vectors used for scientific research. SabChill does not claim ownership over an individual's voice or personal medical history.

4. Withdrawal, Access, Correction & Erasure Rights

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, participants and their authorised representatives may request access to their personal data, correction of inaccurate records, or withdrawal of consent at any time. Upon consent withdrawal, identifiable voice recordings and personal records are scheduled for cryptographic erasure in accordance with our operational retention schedule, subject to any statutory clinical trial record-keeping obligations required by ethics committees or regulatory authorities.

5. Public Website Enquiries & Analytics

This public corporate website collects only the professional contact details voluntarily submitted through our institutional enquiry forms. We do not collect personal health information (PHI) on this public website, nor do we deploy intrusive third-party advertising trackers or behavioural health-profiling pixels.
